CatDog Cafe

The CatDog Cafe.  Hmmmm.... can you guess what this place will be like?

One weekend we went there with some students and other dormers, and the kids had so much fun that we wound up going back another time, so these pictures are a compilation of both trips.

The CatDog Cafe is a coffee shop with two different levels, one has all cats, the other has all dogs.  For 8,000 won you get a coffee, tea or hot chocolate, and unlimited access to the cats and dogs.  Yup, you read that right, UNLIMITED ACCESS.

This is the street level sign, if you are looking for it.

The minute we walk in we are greeted by this little guy.

The rules for the cafe are pretty simple.  Don't touch the animals with red ribbons.  Wear the slippers provided by the cafe in the cat shop, wear your own shoes in the dog shop.

In the cat room there are about 20 cats wandering around, acting like they own the place.

And lots of girls come in to chat and hang out, and see the cats.

This one has a red ribbon... BEWARE!

It is pretty fun, especially if you like cats.  Except when they climb on the table and sniff your straw.

I'm not sure if this would meet Health Department standards in the US, but I'm betting not.

Up to the dogs.  And let me just say, the dogs are insane.  Again there are about 20 of them, cooped up in a space about the size of my dad's cellar.  Also, the dogs do not get out much.  Even to poop. Thank goodness for tile.

RMan gets in to pat a dog.

YIKES!  G-ROSS!

Back downstairs where it is quieter.

The most important thing to remember in the CatDog Cafe is to leave the lid ON your drink.  There is lots of fur floating around.

I had to include this picture of these girls studying in the midst of the CatDog cafe.  Too cute.
