The Sport

Today we were invited to a birthday party for some of the kids in Roan's class.  We went to this place called The Sport, which is like every kid's dream cellar.  The walls are plywood on top with padding surrounding the bottom and floor.  It is filled with balls and stuff to throw... every kid's dream...

After about 30 minutes of free wheelin' mayhem the 2 guys start to organize some games for the kids to do.  First one, crawl through the tunnel, run around the post and run back while carrying a ball.

Next game, potato sack race with a ball that you place in the hole on the end of that board you see, then jump on the board to send the ball flying, catch it, and hop back to your team.

R-Man doing the jump... Yup, most kids shot the ball straight into their own face... see it is fun for the grown-ups, too!

R-Man with the other white kid in his class, doing the ski walk...

Pooks doing the ski walk with another girl with a flower name :)

Squishy foam frisbee through the hoop.

In this game the teams must PULL the other team over and knock over their post thing...

Getting adjusted...

Still pulling, and almost there... R-Man and his teammate won this one...

back to the chaos... this was free for all ball throwing at everybody else.

The guy is giving directions... in korean, of course... neither kid is listening.

Cake time!

Group picture... notice R-Man's Canaveral Groves birthday hat!

Say Kim-Chi!

The food and festivities afterwards...

I am ready for a sweet bottled beer .

Best party favor EVER... personalized BMI readouts.  I love Korea!  Where else could you tell your guests their bone density, their height/weight, and body fat percentage without anyone getting offended?  Nowhere but here!
